The Beginning
United Sales, Inc. traces its origins back to 1987, when entrepreneurial couple Paul and Betty Fehrer launched the business from their home garage. Demonstrating remarkable growth within just a few years, the company upgraded its operations in 1990, moving into a larger facility located in Union Gap.

Their ambition and commitment to quality spurred further expansion, and by 1995, United Sales had relocated once more, this time to a substantial 20,000 square-foot facility. This new space provided the necessary infrastructure to support their increasing production demands and allowed for continued business development. ​In their quest to enhance capabilities and streamline operations, Paul and Betty made another strategic move by acquiring an additional 10,000 square feet in a neighboring building. This expansion facilitated the establishment of a powder coating operation and provided extra space for manufacturing overflow, ensuring that United Sales could maintain its high standards and meet growing customer demands. Just a few short years later, in 2013, an office was opened in East Wenatchee to better serve customers in that area.
​Today, United Sales continues to operate from these three facilities, embodying the entrepreneurial spirit and dedication that Paul and Betty Fehrer instilled from the very beginning.​​
Fast Forward a Bit
​Two years prior to Paul's death in 2018, Jacob Schaffer, Lead Engineer, was placed in the position of General Manager. He has worked diligently ever since to ensure that day-to-day operations continue to run smoothly. His wife Loretta joined the United Sales team in April 2022 as Office Manager. Her dedication has proven invaluable, and together, they have been committed to fostering a supportive and productive environment for the team and continuing to provide exceptional customer service.​
Present Day
In May 2024, we were presented with an opportunity to purchase the company from the Estates of Paul and Betty. Having the desire to honor their legacy, we quickly decided to follow through. We recognized the immense value and heritage that Paul and Betty had built over the years and were determined to preserve and expand upon it. On July 3rd, 2024, it became official, we were the new owners and sole shareholders of United Sales, Inc.
United Sales​ had always been known for its commitment to quality and innovation, traits that we admire deeply. As we take the reins, we feel a profound sense of responsibility to maintain these standards. We began by engaging with the employees, listening to their experiences and ideas, and fostering an atmosphere of collaboration and respect.

We believed that by integrating modern advancements with the core values established by Paul and Betty, we can create a unique and enduring legacy of our own.

To clarify, no other partners or individuals have held ownership or shares in United Sales, Inc. The company remained solely under the control of Paul and Betty and their passing did not change this fact until new ownership by Jacob and Loretta Schaffer took place on July 3rd, 2024. Any rumors or misunderstandings about additional stakeholders are unfounded and should be disregarded.
